About the position

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle, particularly in the automation industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire resources and coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
• Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management role or similar.
• Experience in the automation industry is required.
• Demonstrated experience in job cost analysis and management.
• Strong skills in budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to predict project expenses accurately.
• Experience in vendor management, including selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field is preferred.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
