About the position

The Project Manager will oversee infrastructure and construction projects, focusing on small location acquisitions and technology stack mergers. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the successful implementation of technical infrastructure such as cabling, wiring, printers, and firewalls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage infrastructure and construction projects, including small location acquisitions and technology stack mergers.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, including those involved in cabling, wiring, printer setup, and firewall installation.
  • Oversee the setup and installation of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring all work is completed to specification and on schedule.
  • Provide ongoing support to the client through the acquisition process, including site assessments and infrastructure planning.
  • Identify project risks and potential roadblocks, proactively working with internal teams and vendors to address and mitigate issues.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, adjusting resources as needed to meet project goals.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, status reports, and risk logs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and the client, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all parties.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management, specifically in infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Solid understanding of technical infrastructure, including experience with cabling, wiring, printer setups, and firewalls.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
