About the position

Cherry Hill Construction is seeking a civil construction project manager to oversee various aspects of construction projects, including the submittal process, permitting, plan and specification review, billing, change order management, and project status meetings. The role requires effective coordination between field staff and the General Contractor, ensuring that critical milestones are met while maintaining professional relationships and resolving issues that arise during the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the submittal process for construction projects.
• Oversee permitting and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Handle billing and change order management effectively.
• Conduct project status meetings to track progress and address concerns.
• Review project schedules and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in construction.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in civil construction.
• Strong leadership skills to guide project teams.
• Knowledge of underground utilities, subsurface drainage, flat concrete work, and asphalt paving.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with site development and on-site crushing operations.
• Familiarity with trucking and demolition processes.
