About the position

The Project Manager at York Telecom Corporation is responsible for managing the implementation of Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) solutions for customers. This role involves organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating project activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer commitments. The Project Manager will oversee key operational metrics, including project health and client profitability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain alignment among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet all business and system requirements.
  • Conduct project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
  • Perform project job cost assessment and tracking, providing monthly forecasts.
  • Document and manage project scope throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Communicate project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Discuss and prioritize project issues with the project team, providing support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Identify and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team.
  • Ensure adherence to client's system delivery process guidelines and provide feedback to project teams.
  • Coordinate project-related activities across multiple departments.
  • Interact with suppliers to procure necessary infrastructure and tools.
  • Develop industrial partnerships through open innovation.
  • Identify customer unmet needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Conduct multiple weekly internal and external project status meetings.
  • Manage scope change requests and maintain alignment between stakeholders.
  • Review standard documentation with customers.
  • Onboard devices under management and monitor risks during the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate customer user education and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Transfer information to service desk and onsite staff for day 2 support.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to include lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) solutions.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
