About the position

The Project Manager will oversee the migration of the current immunization information system (IIS) to a newly developed system, ensuring effective planning, execution, and support throughout the process. This role involves coordinating communications, staffing, data migration, training, and scheduling, while also providing ongoing support and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-implementation assessment and organization
• Plan and kickoff the project
• Gather and analyze requirements
• Configure and customize the toolbox
• Perform data profiling and assessment
• Support pilot migration and testing
• Execute migration support
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer
• Provide post-implementation support as requested by the state
• Document and report on project progress
• Manage closure and handover of the project
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with data migration processes
• Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance standards
