About the position

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to manage software development projects for our internal and customer-facing capabilities. The role involves utilizing the Salesforce platform and requires effective planning, scheduling, and controlling to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a project approach for complex projects by identifying and monitoring overall timeline, milestones, tasks, deliverables, customer requirements, and task dependencies.
  • Support determination of project scope, schedule, and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle.
  • Lead project team's daily responsibilities, including prioritization of critical path tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Provide leadership and direction, integrating activities with other departments and vendors to ensure successful implementation and support.
  • Anticipate and identify risks and issues that may impact implementation and develop mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Ensure the project remains focused on key objectives and goals, managing project expectations and engaging all applicable functional areas.
  • Create and maintain a communication plan for the project.
  • Ensure proper change management procedures are followed to manage scope and capture additional work.
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and negotiate for necessary resources to meet project goals.
  • Participate in the creation of and oversee progress of supplier contracts and activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management of complex technical software projects.
  • 7+ years of total experience in Project Management.
  • Experience negotiating changes to project baselines and conducting design reviews.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience interfacing and communicating with business leadership.
  • 3+ years' experience with agile software development methodology, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Scrum.
  • Ability to facilitate large meetings with diverse groups and drive to results.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
  • Scrum master experience.
  • Experience working within large enterprise programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the Salesforce platform and projects leveraging the platform (Experience Cloud).
  • Management experience in managing a support or services team.
  • Experience implementing and coaching software development teams in agile methodologies.
