About the position

The Project Manager at Texas A&M University's teaching site in Washington, D.C. is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong background in project management, with a focus on successful project delivery and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
  • Three years of related experience
  • Knowledge of and comfort & experience with project management principles (scope, cost, time)
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp)
  • Knowledge of word and spreadsheet and presentation applications
  • Ability to work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
  • More than three years of experience with project management principles (scope, cost, time)
  • More than three years of experience in office administration, project management/coordination, or marketing
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with social media and content creation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media)
  • Awareness of marketing tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics
  • Experience working with creative teams and agencies
