About the position
Kennedy Jenks is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead water and wastewater pipeline projects within their growing Southwest Regional team. The role involves managing projects from planning through construction, providing engineering expertise, and ensuring high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will engage and motivate teams, oversee project delivery, and support business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of pipeline projects through planning studies, design, and construction.
- Oversee design delivery including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Mentor project staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Support sales in collaboration with business development teams.
- Coordinate with in-house multi-discipline design teams and specialized sub-consultants.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a similar engineering field.
- 10+ years of experience managing similar water/wastewater pipeline projects.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites and potentially other Kennedy Jenks offices.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service.
