About the position

The Project Manager will oversee the communications, planning, implementation, review, assessment, and promotion of grant programs within the Family & Community Medicine department. This part-time role involves managing operational aspects of programs, including digital content creation and continuing education, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of a budget and operational plans for grant programs.
  • Track expenditures, reconcile P-cards, and develop financial reports as needed.
  • Design and develop new programs or projects, leading project teams and providing guidance to team members.
  • Maintain, configure, and analyze confidential and complex information and reports.
  • Lead implementation of LEAN principles and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with shared university units to improve student experiences related to grant projects.
  • Manage and track continuing education credit certification of programs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the university and community collaborators in support of grant activities.
  • Develop and update web presence on NEOMED website and through social media.
  • Attend conferences and meetings to disseminate grant programming knowledge and increase participation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience in an administrative/department coordinator role with responsibilities for communications and promotions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases, Zoom or other conferencing software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Reporting experience in higher education or grant administration
  • Experience in writing awarded grants
  • Website development, promotions, and social media experience.
