About the position

Miller Paneling Specialties is seeking a Project Manager with construction experience to oversee and coordinate regional staff managing field carpenters and helpers. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring project efficiency, and demonstrating leadership through individual KPIs to meet schedule, document control, costs, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and/or adjust submittals to meet client standards and job specifications.
• Obtain daily production data and update project plans.
• Place material orders and coordinate tools, rental equipment, or other logistics needed for jobs.
• Receive material take-offs from site foreman for change orders/pricing from vendors.
• Scan documents and maintain electronic folders for specific jobs.
• Work with accounting to prepare job billings for customer approval.
• Update Schedule of Values and coordinate punch items with teams.
• Complete quality checks and manage punch items to close projects.
• Investigate customer QC issues and provide recommendations on processing and technical issues.
• Act as a liaison to other departments and customers as required.

Requirements

• 2 years of project management experience (preferred).
• PM related diploma or degree.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to processes.
• Hands-on experience with installation teams.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in construction management.
• Ability to manage conflicting requests and priorities.
