About the position

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring cost-effectiveness and project coordination. This role involves estimating, scheduling, managing subcontracts, and maintaining communication with stakeholders to achieve project objectives safely and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Estimate project costs and schedules.
• Manage subcontracts and material suppliers.
• Write and execute subcontracts.
• Monitor and control project budget and schedule.
• Prepare and report project costs, progress, and forecasts.
• Establish and execute project work plans.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit project-related documentation such as pay applications and change orders.
• Coordinate resource allocation with Operations Manager and General Superintendent.
• Represent the company at project meetings and hearings.
• Review project elements to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Supervise work to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen as assigned.
• Respond to project ad-hoc needs promptly.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree in engineering or construction.
• Three to five years of project management experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30hr certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in heavy civil construction.
• Knowledge of risk management.
