About the position

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure that the goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This role is critical in managing the overall project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. The Project Manager will support all corporate safety initiatives, emphasizing a commitment to a safe working environment, which is considered the top priority for all projects undertaken by the company. In this position, the Project Manager will review project proposals, bids, and contracts to determine the time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and the allocation of available resources to various phases of the project. This includes establishing work plans and staffing for each phase, as well as arranging for the recruitment or assignment of project personnel. The Project Manager will also be responsible for establishing and negotiating all necessary subcontracts to ensure the proper performance of the work. The role requires conferring with project staff to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. The Project Manager will direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget, while maintaining the highest degree of safety and quality standards. Regular reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel will be conducted, with modifications to schedules or plans made as required. Additionally, the Project Manager will prepare and present accurate and timely project reporting to management, clients, or other stakeholders as necessary. This position also involves providing technical advice and resolving problems in collaboration with project personnel, ensuring a focus on positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Five to seven years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
