About the position

The Project Manager will oversee complex projects aimed at improving operating systems and functions within a healthcare environment. This role involves project planning, resource allocation, and coordination of multiple teams, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. The Project Manager will work independently under minimal supervision, preparing reports and recommendations for management, and may supervise support staff related to assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects involving coordination of multiple participants and teams.
• Prepare project plans, including scheduling, costs, and personnel matters.
• Develop and refine project scope and objectives.
• Guide day-to-day activities of the project team.
• Facilitate and/or lead meetings and teams.
• Supply periodic project updates to organizational administration.
• Document current systems and operations and analyze client systems for improvement opportunities.
• Identify internal staff development needs and opportunities for enhancement of staff skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
• At least four years in Operations Analysis, Management Engineering, Operations management, or a related analytical field in healthcare or management consulting directed toward process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, or a relevant technical/management field.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP Certification
• Previous PM Experience within a healthcare environment/space.
• Previous experience/exposure to EPIC EMR System Process Governance.
• Master's Degree preferred.
