About the position

The Project Manager position in Shawnee, KS, is a full-time role that involves coordinating with various construction trades to ensure that quality and safety standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle. This includes overseeing processes from submittal and installation to start-up and turnover. The Project Manager will be responsible for continuously updating the Owner and Management on the progress of the projects, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the construction process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the construction industry, demonstrating a driven and hardworking attitude, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, proficiency in reading blueprints is essential, along with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and preferably Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction trades to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Update Owner and Management on project progress, issues, and concerns.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Utilize project management software and tools to track project milestones.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software is preferred.
