About the position

The Project Manager at Branch is responsible for overseeing all operational and management activities related to assigned projects, ensuring their successful completion and financial outcomes. This role involves close collaboration with project leadership and staff, as well as maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other departments. The Project Manager will also mentor and train project engineers, manage contract administration, and ensure adherence to project goals, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing, training, and mentoring the PE staff.
  • Advise on business functions including workforce management, contracting strategies, and financial management.
  • Support preconstruction activities including design-build procurement.
  • Develop new business opportunities relative to a client or group of clients and foster positive owner relationships.
  • Act as the authority on contracts between the Owner, GC, etc., and the Company to ensure effective project administration.
  • Manage all aspects of the project's contract management, planning, scheduling, budget, quality, safety, and employee development.
  • Oversee profit margins and manage all financial aspects of assigned construction projects.
  • Aid in the timely drafting and execution of subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Review and approve monthly subcontractor pay requisitions.
  • Responsible for schedule development and updates in conjunction with the project staff.
  • Prepare monthly project financial projections and reports.
  • Review payment requisitions, communicate changes, and report project financial status monthly.
  • Develop an effective plan and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent for constructing the project.
  • Adhere to the terms of the contract, assure quality, minimize costs, and promote safety.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 5 or more years of industry Project Management experience on site work, including individual projects over $20M+.
  • Experience using P6 scheduling software, MS Office, Financial software, and/or Project Management software.
  • Must have PM experience running multiple projects at one time.
  • Proven experience managing project teams to successful outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction or related field.
  • Design-Build experience.
