About the position

The Project Manager at Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen is responsible for overseeing residential remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to coordinate with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Schedule pre-construction meetings with clients 24 hours after receiving a job file.
• Review field conditions, proposed costs, schedule, and working drawings.
• Act as the primary point of contact for each project through completion and ensure that each project is built in a clean and professional manner.
• Maintain constant communication during the remodel process.
• Work with CAD to acquire all necessary structural engineering plans, drawings, and specifications to obtain all necessary building permits.
• Review all material, labor, and equipment for each job, confirming that each is within budget and can be procured to meet the job schedule and that Purchase Orders (POs) are accurate.
• Coordinate with the warehouse staff to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of ordered material, tools, and equipment for each job.
• Visit the Jobsite during all crucial construction and monitor workmanship quality of techs and subcontractors to report issues to upper management.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of directly related residential remodel experience.
• Understanding of residential construction, building codes, municipal inspection process, and trade contracts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations.
• Multi-task between client, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and office personnel in a professional manner.
• Ability to communicate positively with multiple departments.
• Prior experience as a general contractor is highly preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid California Driver's License with clear driving record.
