About the position

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a motivated Project Moderator to join our team for a new data collection project in Jacksonville, Florida! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology. The Project Moderator will work onsite at a designated location in Jacksonville and will be expected to foster a positive participant experience. Moderators will work directly with participants to ensure the proper execution of study requirements. The primary responsibility is to moderate user sessions and provide updates to the other members of the production team, as well as troubleshooting data collection technology. We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent and detail-oriented, and can work somewhat independently. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Understand the provided project documentation to assist participants
• Interact with the participant(s) and lead them through data collection projects
• Acknowledge and resolve participants' issues, escalate unsolved issues
• Capture data for the assigned project, aiming to reach the targeted daily goal
• Utilize client tools to label/tag data
• Convey session details to the Project Manager and Production team
• Communicate and coordinate with the project team
• Interact with various hardware & software

Requirements

• Experience working with customer support
• Prior experience with data collection projects or user studies, strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude towards participants
• Must have professional fluency in English (US)
• Must have technical knowledge and be comfortable with new technologies
• Available for the whole duration of the project (through October 18, 2024)
• Available during working hours of Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm EDT
• Within a reasonable commuting distance to Jacksonville, Florida
