About the position

The Project Planner III - Wireless Network Specialized position at V2X is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in planning and scheduling various project workloads, particularly in the context of military networks. The individual in this role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information to prepare comprehensive status reports, ensuring that the assignment and scheduling of work adheres to company policies. A critical aspect of this position involves evaluating current procedures and recommending changes to enhance the efficiency of project planning and scheduling processes. In this role, the Project Planner will administer, manage, and perform planning and implementation activities for communication systems. This includes providing continuity for deployed United States Air Force (USAF) personnel on all projects and serving as the primary point of contact for all communication systems planning. The planner will convene and lead planning meetings, video conferences, and teleconferences, coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs), local command, and external agencies to develop and present project plans. Additionally, the Project Planner will coordinate and facilitate communications installations, which encompass frequency authorizations, civil works authorizations, logistical work, and other allied support. Ensuring that communications systems architecture, configuration, and integration conform to standards is essential, which involves coordinating engineering data through the base Communications Systems Integrator (CSI). The planner will also manage the implementation of communication systems projects, consolidate monthly reports of all communication projects, and track requirements throughout their lifecycle, including gathering, collecting, and archiving requirements. Inputting these requirements into the Government-provided database is also a key responsibility.
