About the position

The Project Production Coordinator at Plattsburgh RV Store is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality customer service and effective project management. This role involves coordinating various tasks such as consultations, sales, design, production layout, and installation of signage, while maintaining accurate records and managing resources efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service, reception, and consultations to clients.
  • Develop quotations and close sales following the company's Customer Service Philosophy.
  • Coordinate projects from start to finish, including site visits and estimating.
  • Conduct material checks and oversee design and production layout.
  • Manage sign making and installation processes.
  • Ensure quality control and client notifications throughout the project.
  • Complete close-out paperwork for projects.
  • Design and produce signage and graphics for all companies.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records related to jobs.
  • Proofread and edit all documentation related to projects.
  • Understand and utilize products used in production effectively.
  • Track and order supplies as needed.
  • Manage media profiles and learn new technologies and techniques in sign making.
  • Use time tracking software daily and assist in maintaining company signage equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing/production area.
  • Prepare monthly departmental reports if required.
  • Follow procedures and policies consistently across all companies.
  • Assist with other projects and jobs as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 years or equivalent experience as a Project Production Coordinator in production operations.
  • Consultation or sales experience, and/or one year of supervisory experience or equivalent.
  • Background in vinyl creation and application.
  • Experience with GRAPHTEC 9000-160 plotter/cutter and GRAPHTEC Cutting Master 4 and Onyx RIP software.
  • Experience with large format digital printing, such as HP365 or equivalent.
  • Understanding of media profiles and management.
  • Experience with roll-over laminating tables.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based computer systems.
  • Expertise in using Adobe Design Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of font selection and management.
  • Solid understanding of color management.

Benefits
