About the position

The position provides essential administrative and operational support for assigned projects and programs within the organization. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of project plans, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes to ensure that project goals and objectives are met. This includes collaborating with management to develop comprehensive project/program goals and plans, as well as managing the department's budget and finances. The role may also involve supervising staff and student workers, conducting research, and analyzing data to inform decision-making processes. The successful candidate will be expected to perform various other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative/operational oversight of assigned program/project.
  • Develops project/program goals, objectives, and plans in collaboration with management.
  • Oversees implementation of project plan, monitors, tracks, and evaluates progress.
  • Assists in development/management of department budget/finances.
  • May manage/oversee work of staff and/or student workers.
  • Conducts research, collects/analyzes data, and oversees data entry.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and move along institutional initiatives with little supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively.

  • Master's degree in relevant discipline.
  • Accuracy and efficiency in managing workload.
