About the position

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee medium-sized projects within a specific business line while supporting portfolio managers in the PMO for larger enterprise initiatives. Your role will involve developing comprehensive project plans and guiding project execution to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the portfolio lead and stakeholders to create an overarching project strategy.
• Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, milestones, and dependencies across all business lines, technology, and vendors, facilitating key project decisions.
• Organize project teams by assigning responsibilities and identifying the necessary resources for project success.
• Prepare project budgets and work alongside finance and business units to report actuals.
• Monitor and report on the progress of assigned projects/programs, providing clear issue and risk updates.
• Compile and deliver communications at various organizational levels, including executive-level materials for steering committees when necessary.
• Manage any project management vendor resources assigned to your projects, ensuring accountability for their deliverables.
• Act as a liaison to foster collaboration among cross-functional leadership teams.
• Adhere to and promote all EPMO policies and procedures within the project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• PMP certification is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required; 7 years preferred
