About the position

The Project/Program Manager II will oversee the change management process within a focused role, ensuring the successful launch and delivery of software releases. This position requires interaction with multiple teams and involves defining and executing the release process, coordinating with QA partners, and managing the exemption process for non-standard releases. The manager will also report on software release quality and manage the software release calendar.

Responsibilities

• Manage the change management process for software releases.
• Define and execute the software release process.
• Plan customer notes and coordinate release readiness with QA partners.
• Identify and address release blocking defects.
• Manage the exemption process for emergency releases and blockers.
• Report on software release quality, including operational and process metrics.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project/program progress.
• Define and manage the software release calendar and cadence.

Requirements

• Experience with Jira for project management.
• Proven track record in software release management.
