About the position

As a Project Manager within the Deployment Support Services Logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the global Robotics Deployment Engineering (RDE) team. This position offers the opportunity to work on multiple initiatives scheduled for 2024, focusing on delivering high-quality logistics services that facilitate the installation of products and systems worldwide. The Logistics team is dedicated to formalizing partner management to enhance lean and efficient logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive year-over-year improvements in third-party productivity, inventory management, quality, and safety. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating meetings with all active third-party logistics providers to ensure optimal performance. In your typical day, you will support the development, maintenance, and control of Standard Operating Procedures for key Tech Deployment logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations of the Robotics Deployment teams and proactively addressing core aspects of deployment materials management. This includes identifying and resolving network-related material issues, reviewing and reporting on material deliveries and inventory projections for deployment projects across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. You will also track third-party performance regarding materials management, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, and confirm project readiness for go-live (GOG). Furthermore, you will manage critical material and problem service report dashboards, prioritize supply chain actions, and follow up with support groups for necessary actions. Your role will also involve guiding deployment teams with material returns and disposition requests at the conclusion of deployment projects, handling ad-hoc shipment requests, and ensuring timely payment of freight and PPE supplier purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, maintenance, and control of Standard Operating Procedures for key Tech Deploy logistics operations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of TD Robotics Deployment teams.
  • Identify and manage network-related material issues to closure.
  • Review and proactively report material deliveries and inventory projections for deployment projects in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
  • Track third-party performance with respect to materials management on a weekly basis and ensure adherence to the service level agreement.
  • Track and confirm projects for GOG readiness.
  • Track critical material and problem service report dashboards, Supply Chain prioritization, and SC adherence to service level agreements.
  • Follow up with Problem Service Report support groups for required actions and/or prioritization.
  • Support and guide deployment teams with material returns and disposition requests at the end of deployment projects.
  • Field ad-hoc shipment requests and/or provide guidance to ensure no discontinuities from the carriers or internal transportation team.
  • Generate and ensure timely payment of freight and PPE supplier POs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Project/Program manager
  • Logistics experience
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional business and technical teams
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Self-starter with tactical and strategic execution capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Agile, Oracle, Coupa, or SAP
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Engineering industry experience would be a plus
