About the position

The Project/Program Manager III position at TapHere in New Orleans, LA, is focused on supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A). This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, particularly in technology assessments, systems design, and programmatic support. The successful candidate will lead projects, manage teams, and ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program/projects supporting NIWC-A.
• Oversee technology assessments, systems design, and programmatic support.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies.
• Supervise and mentor less experienced personnel in project management.
• Manage budget planning and acquisition planning for projects.

Requirements

• Fifteen (15) years of technical experience in program/projects support.
• At least eight (8) years of Program Management experience.
• Experience managing an enterprise data center or cloud hosting project for five (5) years.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PgMP.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in supervising and mentoring personnel.
• Advanced certifications in Program Management (DAWIA Advanced/Level 2-3).
