About the position

The Project/Program Manager III at Software Technology Inc. is responsible for overseeing complex projects and programs within the organization. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. The Project/Program Manager III will also be tasked with identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct project reviews and post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with software development projects.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in project contexts.
