About the position

DataSoft Technologies is seeking a Project/Program Manager III to manage small to medium scope projects with limited risk and complexity. This role involves applying project management principles as defined in the PMBOK, overseeing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and ensuring adherence to project management standards. The individual will work with state government entities and contribute to statewide project portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Report on progress and status of deliverables.
• Full responsibility for scope management and configuration management.
• Coordinate and oversee all project resources including IS technical staff, customers, and contract personnel.
• Ensure adherence to project management, development, testing, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate the implementation of applications with the assigned LSA.
• Manage resource allocation and project team capacity.
• Conduct project communications and regular stand-up meetings.
• Control and monitor all outsourced tasks.

Requirements

• Successful project management experience with small scope projects.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high professional standards.
• Mastery of project management skills and experience.
• Comfortable working with high levels of state government.
• Skills in statewide project portfolio management and IT Investment Management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in managing complex and high-risk projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
