About the position

The Project Manager IV role is responsible for managing strategic and tactical internal communications for the Worldwide Grocery Stores business. This includes creating employee-facing communications, managing complex communication projects, and developing innovative internal communication plans. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a proactive work ethic, and experience in change management communications, acting as a key partner to project teams and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic and tactical internal communications for the Worldwide Grocery Stores business.
• Create employee-facing communications about critical policies and changes.
• Identify positive storytelling opportunities within the business.
• Develop strategic and innovative internal communication plans.
• Write, review, and manage business-specific email communications and updates.
• Coordinate and complete communication projects, overseeing all aspects and setting deadlines.
• Monitor and summarize progress of projects with cross-functional teams.
• Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communication or public relations preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in the Communications field or related area.
• Experience in internal communications, preferably with operations or frontline knowledge.
• Experience executing successful, creative, and complex communications plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in change management or issues management.
• Ability to exercise high judgment in narrow time-frames and ambiguity.
