About the position

The FE US Expansion Operations Project Manager at Micron Technology plays a crucial role in supporting key initiatives related to the expansion of the company's front-end operations in the United States. This position involves collaboration across various departments and global partners, providing leadership in project management, business process improvement, and data analysis. The manager is responsible for ensuring the success of expansion commitments, managing headcount planning, and developing efficient budgets for travel and training.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with senior leaders to support FE US Expansion initiatives.
  • Provide leadership in project management, business process improvement, and organizational change management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and enable the success of FE US Expansion site and global commitments.
  • Support headcount planning and tracking, and develop efficient travel and training budgets.
  • Complete all required safety training and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
  • Communicate data findings and recommend solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Participate in department meetings and build effective relationships with supported teams.
  • Prioritize projects that support FE US Expansion goals and product commitments.
  • Manage headcount planning, tracking, and efficiency as the primary contact.
  • Drive cost-effective training and travel budgets.
  • Extract, organize, and present department data such as headcount.
  • Analyze data to highlight key organizational trends and issues, identifying potential solutions.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to implement world-class practices.
  • Design, develop, and manage deployment of new processes and solutions.
  • Lead Business Process Improvement efforts and manage program objectives.
  • Apply project management principles to ensure objectives are met on-time and within budget.
  • Manage concurrent high-level projects and resolve priority conflicts.
  • Drive quarterly Business Planning cycle for assigned programs.
  • Ensure effective rollouts with proactive communication to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of process improvement methods.
  • Proven ability in data analysis, problem solving, and decision making.
  • Self-motivated and dependable with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong systematic and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to identify, understand, and mitigate risk before making decisions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Knowledge of industry practices, trends, and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor experience.
  • Preferred experience in Technical, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Experience with dashboarding and SQL coding preferred.
