About the position

The position involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the crib team, managing crib relocation and storage plan projects, and overseeing the daily work of crib attendants. The role requires effective communication with various stakeholders to ensure material availability and safety compliance, while also focusing on employee development and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day needs of crib team.
  • Support crib relocation and storage plan projects.
  • Develop, plan, and execute storage plan projects.
  • Develop, plan and execute crib relocation projects.
  • Oversee crib attendant daily work.
  • Report performance evaluation information to Crib Manager and execute employee development plans.
  • Conduct routine performance discussions with crib attendants.
  • Train new crib attendants following the established training matrix.
  • Manage crib safety processes and report incidents to the Crib Manager.
  • Ensure training records for crane, order picker, and fork truck licensing are up to date.
  • Review standard work for accuracy and update as needed with Crib Manager.
  • Plan material storage including FIFO, bin location plans, and inventory accuracy.
  • Resolve crib disbursement and receiving issues in a timely manner.
  • Address mis-directed delivery and paperwork receipt issues with suppliers.
  • Execute expedites and couriers for urgent crib material.
  • Review stagnant crib material for obsolescence and surplus opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with date-related material processes.
  • Work with Tool Control to resolve miscellaneous transaction issues.
  • Execute cycle count process and report results.
  • Conduct bi-annual inventory count process.
  • Address crib attendant needs and concerns.
  • Enter maintenance work orders for crib equipment as needed.
  • Enter requests to CI card process as needed.
  • Communicate and resolve requests from shop personnel, escalating as necessary.
  • Cover crib attendant absences when needed.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Provide daily updates to the Crib Manager.
  • Escalate urgent problems to the Crib Manager as needed.
  • Ensure completion of requests made by Tool Control.
  • Complete special tasks requested by the Crib Manager or Facilities Engineering Factory Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related role.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of referential formulas such as VLookup.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • SQL query skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Query.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Forklift or other industrial vehicle experience.
