About the position

As a Program Manager at our global engineering solutions company, you will oversee and manage the successful delivery of programs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) team to provide insights to the automotive industry, optimizing performance, cost, and mass of vehicle designs and parts. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to drive effective delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Serves as single point contact for the Caresoft execution team to the customer
• Ensures strong Project Initiation with approved statement of work and high-quality project plan
• Schedules customer and internal review meetings to meet program timing
• Achieves VAVE global process milestones on time with quality
• Develops stakeholder documents including distribution lists and required reports
• Informs internal stakeholders of Program Content and Timing
• Ensures properties are received (vehicles/math) on time; escalates accordingly
• Ensures high quality customer Design Review preparation, execution, and post-review follow-up
• Ensures customer queries are addressed on time with quality
• Drives continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices with VAVE and VAVE leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related
• 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a VAVE or engineering environment
• Able to set priorities and drive for results
• Experience in leading teams
• Operates with strategic agility and comfortable with ambiguity
• Demonstrates customer focus and business acumen
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Engineering or Business
• PMP, SAFe or equivalent certification
• Visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with VAVE methodologies and tools
• Experience with project management software: MS Project, Asana, etc.
