About the position

Talent Software Services is looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager to join our client in El Dorado Hills, CA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of various projects and programs within the organization. The Project/Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the team regarding all JIRA, SMP, and mailbox intake processes. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and communicate efficiently with various stakeholders. The Project/Program Manager will attend all planning and stand-up meetings related to demand, capacity, service management, product ownership, and product management. This includes coordinating committee meetings, scheduling, taking notes, and documenting minutes. The role also involves tracking and reporting on intakes and requests from initiation to completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. In addition, the Project/Program Manager will be responsible for managing ServiceNow and reporting on configuration items and requests. They will handle JIRA issues, boards, and provide management and reporting on epics, stories, and timelines. Participation in meetings for various projects and programs is essential, as is the ability to track action items and provide status reports for teams, as well as strategic reporting for senior leadership. The role also includes coordinating responses to internal and external audits and assessments, conducting research and analysis, and reporting on activities, problems, and trends. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong background in project management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5 years of strategic project/product management experience.
  • 5 years of expertise in Microsoft 365/Outlook and Teams.
  • 5 years of knowledge in IT operations/security/privacy.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience with ServiceNow/Confluence/JIRA.
  • 5 years of experience in IT and IT Security GRC.
