About the position

The Project Sales Coordinator will support the Business Development Team in the custom manufacturing and construction management industry by creating RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for key clients. This role involves assisting sales representatives in the bidding process and collaborating with project managers to plan and execute various construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bid schedule using Salesforce application.
  • Review all contract documents prior to each bid and identify scope of work.
  • Edit and review RFP, RFI, RFQ before producing templates for submittal to key clients.
  • Produce initial cost estimation for scope of work on all non-custom and small to mid-size projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, addendums, and RFI's to identify scope of work.
  • Use Bluebeam to mark up, highlight, and make notes for sales members to review.
  • Fill out scope of work bid sheet.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities when determining scope of work.
  • Produce initial cost estimate and review with sales member prior to bid.
  • Identify scope gaps, issues, challenges, unclear scope, and scope questions prior to bid.
  • Produce RFI and send to customers.
  • Gather vendor quotes as needed for accurate bid and assist with follow-up on smaller projects.
  • Assist bid coordinator and sales members in ensuring Salesforce data accuracy.
  • Coordinate structural concerns with engineer prior to bid.

Requirements

  • 2 years related experience in sales estimations creating bids within the engineering, architectural, or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Bachelor's or College degree in Business is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Acumatica, Sage, and Salesforce.
