The Project Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting large-scale landscape projects by delivering quotes and assisting in the management of commercial construction jobs and municipal maintenance bids. This position requires a candidate who demonstrates exceptional service and teamwork, is eager to learn, and maintains a positive attitude. The Project Sales Coordinator is responsible for creating and delivering complete and accurate quotes to customers and team members, utilizing the support of the Project Sales Team. This role involves gathering necessary paperwork for liens, packaging product submittal sheets for contractors, and orchestrating phased deliveries. Collaboration with team members and effective communication with the Project Sales Team, Business Development Representatives, and Sales Center Managers is essential to ensure the smooth progress of customer projects. On a daily basis, the Project Sales Coordinator resolves customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner, completes data input, paperwork, and internal reports efficiently. The successful candidate will continuously increase their job and product knowledge while developing industry relationships. Additionally, the Project Sales Coordinator may assist in the Sales Center when necessary and perform other duties as assigned. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is focused on serving business owners with urgent needs. The role requires a strong customer-service attitude, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Candidates must also possess good computer and record-keeping skills, as well as the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver complete and accurate quotes to customers and team members.
  • Gather paperwork for liens and package product submittal sheets for contractors.
  • Orchestrate phased deliveries for projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to sell Horizon's value and provide excellent customer service.
  • Communicate daily with Project Sales Team, Business Development Representatives, and Sales Center Managers regarding project statuses.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Complete data input, paperwork, and internal reports in a timely fashion.
  • Increase job and product knowledge and develop industry relationships.
  • Assist in the Sales Center when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer-service attitude.

  • Clear communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to perform business math (percentages, ratios, discounts, interest, etc.).

  • Cooperative and dependable team player.
  • Good computer and record-keeping skills, with an aptitude to learn new systems and processes.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
  • Possess or obtain forklift certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Some previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Irrigation experience is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge in other landscape products is helpful.
