About the position

The Project Scheduler/Analyst position at Jacobs involves providing essential scheduling services for the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, generating integrated schedule reports, and supporting project managers with updates and progress reports. The position requires collaboration with project teams to ensure effective scheduling practices and quality control of deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain up to 70 detailed project schedules in the Capital Projects using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Generate master integrated schedule reports from Enterprise P6.
  • Provide schedule updates for the Monthly and Quarterly project reporting.
  • Develop standardized procedures and templates for schedule development, updates, & quality control.
  • Assist with implementation or training related to standardized procedures.
  • Support Project managers for Project monthly reports and progress reports (EVM).
  • Support Project managers to track project changes and re-baseline project schedule as needed.
  • Participate in lessons learned and risk reviews with project teams.
  • Provide QC of deliverables across the project controls team.
  • Review and provide comments on contractor schedules as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in project scheduling.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 Enterprise.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working with others.
  • Knowledge of working with cost control and financial analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with EcoSys and Microsoft Project.
