About the position

The Project Scheduler/Earned Value Analyst will support the Cost & Schedule Analysis Department within the Navy Aviation Division. This role involves developing and maintaining an integrated government schedule, analyzing project documentation, and providing earned value and schedule input throughout the project lifecycle. The position is hybrid, requiring some onsite customer support in Lexington Park, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting requirements from technical subject matter experts and translating them into information for developing and maintaining an integrated government schedule (IGS)
  • Evaluating project documentation such as Statements of Work (SOW), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Analyzing schedule data related to programs/projects using MS Project and MS Excel
  • Formatting and presenting schedule information using OnePager Professional, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
  • Facilitating meetings in support of schedule processes with program or project stakeholders
  • Providing timely analysis of contractor reported cost and schedule data from the Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR)
  • Producing independent Government Estimates at Completion (EACs) and conducting Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
  • Conducting Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)
  • Providing earned value and schedule input to various performance assessment reviews and reports
  • Supporting NAVAIR program(s) throughout the project lifecycle by providing schedule and earned value products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Math, Science, Statistics, Business, Management, or Engineering, OR Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, OR High School Diploma with 10 years of experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with networked schedule development and critical path method
  • Experience using MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word

Nice-to-haves

  • Scheduling and earned value experience specific to NAVAIR/DoD
  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition Lifecycle
  • Familiarity with aircraft and weapons systems
  • Experience using earned value tools and applications
  • Experience with technical program management support
  • Experience interfacing with senior level customers
