Peraton is seeking a Project Security Coordinator to join our team in Honolulu, HI, supporting the USINDOPACOM J8. This role is pivotal in providing coordination and execution support for International Science & Technology (S&T) Engagement initiatives, including Joint International Experimentation (JIE) and various innovation/S&T workshops and engagements. The Project Security Coordinator will be responsible for multiple program security functions, which encompass Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, Information System Security, Communications Security, and Physical Security for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). In this role, you will assist in validating International S&T engagement policies, plans, and messaging to enhance multilateral cooperation. You will also organize and support various events, including technology demonstrations, assessments, and joint international experimentation. A key responsibility will be processing visitor access and ensuring effective communication and coordination under applicable guidelines and regulations. You will manage communications among stakeholders at multiple classification levels using various mediums, such as Secure Video Teleconferencing (SVTC) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP). Additionally, you will develop and disseminate S&T project schedules to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and management of classified programs, particularly in support of Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in navigating DOD manuals, instructions, regulations, and guidelines related to national security programs. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for providing information, training, and operational support to the Division. The ability to work independently or under general direction is also crucial for success in this role.
