About the position

The Project Specialist for Winchester Public Schools will oversee the WISH program, which aims to enhance student mental health by creating partnerships with local universities. This role involves managing programmatic and fiscal aspects, coordinating professional learning, and leading recruitment efforts to diversify the school-based mental health staff. The position is critical in establishing a pipeline for students in counseling and social work to gain practical experience in high-need schools.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of the WISH program including programmatic and fiscal management.
• Ensure timely reporting and adherence to program timelines.
• Coordinate professional learning opportunities for staff.
• Establish and manage an ambassadorship program.
• Collaborate with the Diversity Recruitment Specialist for recruitment efforts.
• Work with program evaluators, target schools, institutions of higher education (IHEs), and community partners.
• Lead the Management Team and Advisory Council.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Five years of relevant experience in education or program management.
• Valid teaching and/or administrative credential.
• Experience in grant management.
