About the position

The Project Specialist III - Data Steward at Fluor Corporation is responsible for planning and executing project management assignments globally, ensuring compliance with contracts while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability. This role involves managing project activities, coordinating with various technical disciplines, and supporting project planning and execution. The position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and may involve full accountability for medium-sized projects or specific segments of larger projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic project engineering functions including monitoring progress and preparing documentation.
• Coordinate efforts of technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure integrated designs.
• Review project staffing requirements and coordinate with functional organization managers.
• Support the creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules.
• Monitor activities, progress, and milestones against project plans.
• Support the preparation and coordination of project deliverables and design documents.

Requirements

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study.
• Six years of work-related experience or a combination of education and experience equal to ten years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences including management and clients.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal statutes.
