About the position

The Project Specialist - Protection Relay Training Coordinator at Con Edison is responsible for coordinating training related to relay protection systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in electrical engineering and strong organizational skills to manage training schedules, meetings, and events effectively. The position also involves informal leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training sessions for relay protection systems.
• Schedule and plan meetings and events related to training.
• Develop and deliver effective presentations on relay protection systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build rapport and ensure training effectiveness.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to relay software.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent with 8 years of experience in relay protection systems, or
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 6 years of experience in relay protection systems, or
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 4 years of experience in relay protection systems.
• In-depth knowledge of relay software and its applications.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
