About the position

The Project Specialist at TrinWare is responsible for managing client projects within the Managed Services NOC. This role involves ensuring the successful deployment and implementation of various IT projects, including Microsoft 365/Office365, hardware installations, and network deployments. The Project Specialist will work closely with the Senior Architect and the Director of Technical Services, providing high-level service delivery and maintaining client documentation. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Own client projects and participate in project meetings (pre and post).
  • Provide project updates during weekly bi-weekly tech meetings.
  • Manage project reporting for both customers and internally.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Work daily in ConnectWise, ITGlue, and other MSP software to ensure client data is current and organized.
  • Track down missing configuration data and update accordingly.
  • Ensure TrinWare SLAs are met for assigned tasks.
  • Engage Subject Matter Experts, Engineers, and Technicians to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Document work performed in PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise).
  • Demonstrate and cultivate TrinWare's Core Values in all situations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years client-facing IT service desk experience, preferably in a managed services or multi-tenant support company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including telephony, communication, and active listening.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage, CWRMM, ConnectSecure, ITGlue, and other specialized Managed Services software.
  • Ability to write, read, and follow Scopes of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Experience in M365 and Google Workspace migrations.
  • Experience with email backups, archiving, and spam filtering.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Experience with Acronis and Barracuda Back-up.
  • Mature understanding of Cyber Security principles.
  • Ability to create and document SOPs as needed.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with IT service management best practices.
