About the position

As a Project Structural Engineer at Olsson, you will be responsible for managing engineering tasks and project management for small to medium-sized projects, particularly in the Data Center industry. This role involves working with major technology companies and requires a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and ownership of your work. You will handle design calculations, develop project scopes and schedules, and produce structural construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage engineering and project management tasks on small to medium-sized projects.
• Process design calculations and develop project scopes and schedules.
• Produce structural construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Must be a registered professional engineer.
• Experience in the Data Center industry is preferred.
• Revit experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team.
• Masters degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience utilizing structural design and drafting software packages preferred.
