About the position

As a Project Structural Engineer at Olsson, you will be responsible for managing engineering tasks on small to medium-sized projects, particularly in the Data Center industry. This role involves working with major technology companies and requires independent handling of project management from conception to completion, including design calculations, project scopes, schedules, and producing structural construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage engineering and project management tasks on small to medium-sized projects.
• Process design calculations for structural projects.
• Develop project scopes and schedules.
• Produce structural construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Must be a registered professional engineer.
• Experience in the Data Center industry is preferred.
• Revit experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Masters degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) is preferred.
• Experience utilizing structural design and drafting software packages is preferred.
