About the position

As a Project Support Coordinator at Connection, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of project tasks involving our customers, service partners, and project team members. This position is designed for a multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at keeping everyone on track. You will be responsible for validating hardware replacement tickets related to various service types, including onboarding, offboarding, advance exchanges, and refreshes for desktops, laptops, thin clients, and peripherals. Your attention to detail will be essential as you capture ticket details and process this data into Connection's ticketing system. Additionally, you will be involved in placing orders, performing asset management, and following up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion of projects. Working primarily under the supervision of the Lead-Project Support, you will also ensure that departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Validates hardware replacement tickets received and related to different service types (onboarding, offboarding, advance exchanges, and refreshes) for desktops, laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.
  • Captures ticket details and processes the ticket data into Connection's ticketing system.
  • Places orders and performs asset management as required.
  • Follows up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assures departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and data entry is preferred.

  • Familiarity with IT hardware and software solutions.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or project coordination role.
