About the position

The Project Surveyor at KCI Technologies, Inc. is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects, ensuring technical quality, profitability, and adherence to schedules. This role involves client development, project coordination, and maintaining superior client relationships. The Project Surveyor will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, preparing project scopes, budgets, and contracts, while also leading project meetings and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the scope of services, detailed project budget, and contract for review and approval.
• Coordinate project scheduling and conduct kick-off and interim project status meetings.
• Complete each project on time and on budget.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets throughout the project life.
• Lead formal Project Reviews and assure QA/QC reviews are completed at appropriate stages.
• Determine if a contract needs to be amended and seek approval from the client and supervisor when necessary.
• Monitor adherence to company standards, including Quality Control and Quality Assurance specifications and CADD standards.
• Assist in documenting the performance of project team members through completion of Project Staff Reviews.
• Communicate significant performance issues to team members and the Florida Practice Leader.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Minimum of 5 - 9 years of professional experience.
• Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
• Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
