About the position

The Brand Ambassador plays a crucial role in executing marketing plans and promotional events for Hubbard Broadcasting's radio stations, including 92.3 WIL, KSHE 95, 101 ESPN, 105.7 The Point, 106.5 The Arch, and The Morning After podcast. This part-time position involves assisting with various promotional activities, contests, and community service programs sponsored by the stations. The Brand Ambassador is expected to represent the station professionally, ensuring a positive image is projected at all events while providing exceptional customer service. In this role, the Brand Ambassador will attend and execute special promotional events and remotes, engaging with the public and clients throughout the events. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down promotional equipment such as banners, tents, balloons, and prize wheels. Effective communication with other staff members during events is essential, as is maintaining a cheerful demeanor and keeping promotional areas and station vehicles organized and clean. The position requires punctuality and adherence to an established schedule, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The Brand Ambassador will also be responsible for safely driving station vehicles to and from events, obeying traffic laws, and participating in meetings and brainstorming sessions. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, and the ideal candidate will be reliable, creative, outgoing, and personable, with a strong ability to interact with the public and project a positive station image.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of marketing plans and events for various radio stations.
  • Attend and execute special promotional events, remotes, and client events.
  • Represent the station professionally at events with a high level of customer service.
  • Interact with the general public, clients, and station staff during events.
  • Assist with the set-up and breakdown of promotional equipment such as banners, tents, and prize wheels.
  • Maintain a cheerful attitude during events and keep promotional areas organized and clean.
  • Safely drive station vehicles to and from events, obeying traffic laws.
  • Attend meetings and brainstorming sessions as required.
  • Complete other duties as requested and needed.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in pressure situations.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate general office equipment and drive vehicles.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written directions.
  • Ability to think critically and articulate information clearly.

  • Familiarity with one or more of the stations is preferred.
