About the position
The Proofreader role is a contract position aimed at supporting a growing residential service provider. This fully onsite position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and is available in either the Fairfield County, CT or Chattanooga, TN offices. The role is designed for individuals who can quickly adapt and contribute to the team.
Requirements
- 2+ years proofreading/editing experience
- College degree in English or Journalism preferred
- Strong attention to detail with proven time management skills
- Above-average computer skills, including demonstrated knowledge of programs such as Acrobat and Word
- Understanding of proper sentence and paragraph construction
- Proven ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple, complex concurrent projects
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
