About the position
Join Uline as a Proofreader to support our award-winning marketing efforts. This role involves ensuring accuracy in content, spelling, and grammar for various printed materials, including Uline's extensive catalog. The position is on-site and requires a passion for reading and writing, as well as the ability to work within a large creative team under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy in content, spelling, and grammar for various printed materials, including Uline's 800+ page catalog.
- Monitor consistency of all material within Uline's style guidelines.
- Copy edit communications for clarity and consistent tone.
- Fact-check content and product images.
- Confirm print specs, layout, and review printer's proofs for accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in English or Journalism.
- 3+ years of experience in copyediting or proofreading.
- Proficient in AP Style.
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
