About the position

The Propane Sales Representative at Berico Heating and Cooling is responsible for driving sales of propane products and services within a designated territory. This role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires a proactive approach to sales and a strong understanding of the propane industry, particularly within the triad market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Promote and sell propane products and services
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts
  • Manage and track sales pipeline and forecast sales performance
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns

Requirements

  • 1 year of propane industry experience
  • Proven experience in B2B sales & B2C sales
  • Strong skills in lead generation and managing customer relationships
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on presentation abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail
