About the position

The Lead Business Analyst (Lead Reinsurance SME) role is focused on leveraging extensive experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, particularly in reinsurance. The position requires a deep understanding of reinsurance tools and systems, with a primary responsibility of acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure effective integration and documentation of business processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document the current business logic in legacy systems.
• Act as a single point of contact with the Product Owner.
• Participate in capturing system technology requirements for reinsurance system integration.
• Document functional and system requirements.
• Support the IT/Application team during development phases.
• Review UAT and test cases.
• Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts and IT professionals.
• Provide training to the IT and Business teams.
• Own and manage product integration.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the P&C insurance domain.
• 4+ years of experience in reinsurance and accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business and IT teams.
