About the position

DB Insurance Co., Ltd. (Anaheim, CA Office) is seeking multiple candidates to join our fast-growing Underwriting team as Product Analysts. This position is ideal for individuals at various experience levels, from recent college graduates to seasoned professionals in underwriting and product analysis. As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the actuarial and statistical analysis necessary for our operations. Your responsibilities will include revising products and rating sheets, which are primarily Excel-based, and supporting pricing and loss ratio analysis by product, line, branch market, and competitor benchmarking. You will also assist in submitting filings regarding rate, rule, and form changes, as well as making and analyzing underwriting monitoring data. Additionally, you will support the creation of property and casualty market data using SAS. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry while working alongside a dedicated team. Responsibilities

  • Support the actuarial and statistical analysis.
  • Revise the products and rating sheet (Excel based).
  • Support pricing and loss ratio analysis by product, line, branch market, and competitors benchmarking.
  • Assist in submitting filings regarding rate, rule, and form changes.
  • Make and analyze underwriting monitoring data.
  • Support the creation of property and casualty market data using SAS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capability to build and maintain positive relationships through teamwork.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean preferred but not required.
